Mental Wellness

In this episode, we discuss an important topic for all which is mental wellness. Mental health has been a taboo subject for such a long time but we see that the world is starting to open up and talk more about this important subject. Sabine and Heather talk about how essential it is to understand mental wellness for your benefit and the people you coach. Most of the time, we ignore the warning signs of poor mental health which leads to a much greater problem. As the two dive into this subject, they bring awareness on how you could reinforce healthy mental wellness to your FRs. They also share some basic stress management reminders.

In the ‘Say That Again’ segment, they role play an FR who’s been struggling overall and showing signs that there’s something more going on beyond the regular day to day stress.

18:18 Yoga and meditation, encourage your reps to make time for exercise. My guess is if they're overwhelmed and they're stressed, it's usually the first thing that goes so encouraging them to make time for exercise will help. 

20:01 Pay attention to what you're eating and what you're putting in your body.

21:22 Mental health doesn't look like you think it does, when it's missing. It doesn't always look like it's missing, like depressed people aren't moping around all the time.
